TEN SKIN CARE TIPS

1.Know your skin type.
Knowing your skin type is important because not every skin care product suits everyone. Are you oily, dry, combination, sensitive, acneic, mature? If you’re not sure you should consult with a skincare specialist before buying any products.
2. Make sure to wash twice a day with tepid water.
Yes, even if you have washed the night before! Dead skin cells, dirt & dust can collect on your skin overnight!
3. Never use body soap to wash your face!
It is too harsh & drying for the delicate skin on your face.
4. Be careful with your skin, wash gently & don’t pick, poke, squeeze or scratch in front of the mirror. Don’t over-exfoliate.
The more you traumatize your skin, the greater your risk of damage.
5. Keep your make-up sponges & brushes clean.
This is very important because they can develop bacteria which you will then put on your face & that can lead to breakouts.
6. Avoid smoking!
Your skin is a large organ and it needs a lot of circulation. Smoking impairs that dramatically. That’s why smokers’ skin looks dull and gray. Instead of having oxy-generated blood delivered to the surface of the skin, they’re getting poisons and oxidants.
7.Drink lots of water.
Keeping your body hydrated helps keep your skin healthy.
8. Keep it moisturized.
Dryness causes the outer layer of your skin to break, leading to a rough & unattractive appearance. Moisturizer is best applied while the skin is still damp.
9. Always wear a sunscreen of SPF 30 or more!
Sun is the #1 cause of environmental damage to our skin! Sunscreen should be applied daily regardless of the weather conditions!
